Indianapolis Justice Center
Central Utility Plant & Site Lighting
Miller-Eads served as the electrical contractor for the Central Utility Plant (CUP) at the new $625 million Indianapolis-Marion County Community Justice Campus (CJC). Spanning a 50-acre site, this massive civic complex consolidates the city’s courts, a 2,700-bed adult detention center, and multiple specialized law enforcement and intervention facilities. To power the critical infrastructure of this expansive campus, our team successfully executed complex electrical sitework while heavily leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) for seamless design and multi-trade coordination. By utilizing Trimble RTS technology for our field layouts, we ensured pinpoint accuracy and peak efficiency throughout the installation, delivering robust and reliable utility power to this landmark municipal project.
