Position Summary
Miller-Eads Company is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical BIM Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects throughout Central Indiana and surrounding regions. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate Building Information Modeling (BIM) content, coordinating electrical systems with project teams, and supporting field installation through clash detection, layout preparation, and model-based workflows.
The ideal candidate combines strong electrical construction knowledge with advanced BIM and coordination capabilities and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.Key Responsibilities
· Develop, manage, and maintain electrical BIM models for commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use construction projects.
· Produce coordinated installation drawings, prefabrication drawings, and field layout information from project models.
· Participate in BIM coordination meetings with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
· Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building systems.
· Create and maintain Revit families and standards consistent with company and project requirements.
· Coordinate conduit routing, equipment placement, lighting layouts, power distribution systems, and low-voltage systems within BIM environments.
· Support prefabrication and construction teams with accurate spool drawings and model-driven workflows.
· Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, field foremen, and engineers to ensure constructability and project success.
· Assist with implementation and improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
· Maintain project documentation and ensure model accuracy throughout project lifecycle phases.
· Utilize laser scans, point clouds, and field verification tools when applicable.
· Support field personnel with layout data and troubleshooting related to coordinated models.
Qualifications
· Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in BIM, drafting, engineering technology, or electrical construction.
· Minimum 3 years of BIM/VDC experience in the electrical construction industry.
· Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and coordination processes.
· Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
· Working knowledge of NEC codes and industry standards.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with AutoCAD, BIM 360, ACC, Revizto, or similar collaboration platforms.
· Knowledge of prefab workflows and model-based construction practices.
· Experience with point cloud modeling and laser scanning technologies.
· Field electrical construction experience is highly valued.

Miller-Eads Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and material handling activities at our Indianapolis location. This role is responsible for maintaining warehouse and yard organization, moving and delivering materials throughout the company campus, accepting incoming deliveries, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to take initiative in supporting warehouse and delivery operations.Key Responsibilities
· Deliver materials, tools, and equipment throughout the company campus and job locations as needed
· Load, unload, move, and organize materials in the warehouse and yard
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, storage areas, and outdoor yard spaces
· Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and condition
· Assist with inventory organization and material staging
· Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
· Support daily warehouse operations and assist team members as needed
· Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
· Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Valid driver’s license required
· CDL license is highly valued
· Forklift experience preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate
· Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
