DaimlerChrysler Foundry
The DaimlerChrysler Foundry began operations in 1946 manufacturing engine blocks and other components for Chrysler trucks and sport utility vehicles. Miller-Eads provided electrical service and control wiring for the Lormindi machines and material handling conveyors feeding the lost-sand cast molding lines. A dense design of equipment optimizes space and material handling. Miller-Eads was able to meet the challenge of adapting the German design and manufactured equipment to American codes and materials through creative "field engineering."
